Gen. Ing. Andor Šándor

Program guarantor and Head of the Institute of Political, Security and Economic Diplomacy

Czech soldier, reserve general and world-renowned security analyst. He worked in command and staff positions, since 1986 he worked in the General Staff of the Czechoslovak People’s Army. In 2001 and 2002 he was Chief of the Military Intelligence Service. Since 2003 he has been working as a security consultant and analyst.

He regularly provides expert opinions and commentaries for major Czech media, including television and radio, news and current affairs programs (CT1, CT24, Nova, TV Prima, Czech Radio, Radio Free Europe, BBC and others). He also appears in prominent prints and broadcast media in Slovakia.

Publications (in Czech): He is the author of a number of articles dealing primarily with security and terrorism issues and has also written 3 books: Shall we expect a disaster? (2016), How to Survive Not only a Terrorist Attack (2017), Planet Earth: A Cruel Place to Live (2018)
