Basic of the Public International Law

The course covers basic topics such as the nature and development of international law, relations between the public international law and national (municipal) law as well as sources of the public international law (international legal custom, international treaties, judicial decisions and other). Students learn about subjects of international law and about the position of national states and their fundamental rights and duties, about position of international organisations and individuals and other topics. The course also includes topic of the international humanitarian law or the diplomatic and consular law.
