Since October 2021 he has been working at the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy of the Academy of Performing Arts. He is also an internal doctoral student at the Department of Political Science, Institute of Political Science, Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University. He completed his bachelor's degree in Political Science and Social Sciences at the Faculty of Arts, University of South Bohemia in Ústí nad Labem, followed by a master's degree in Political Science at IPS FSV UK.
He specializes in the issue of new political parties, with an emphasis on the Czech Republic. He is also working on his dissertation on this topic. It also focuses on party and political systems, as well as on issues of digitization of political parties and new trends in this area.
He is a member of the international research network Digital Parties Research Network and participated in the activities of the Czech Republic in activities within the Comparative Candidates Survey (CCS). He presented the results of his research at professional conferences and congresses both abroad (eg Brisbane (Australia) - 25th IPSA World Congress of Political Science 2018, Vancouver (Canada) - CPSA Annual Conference 2019, Hamburg (Germany) - ECPR General Conference 2018, Oslo (Norway) - ECPR General Conference 2017 and Banská Bystrica (Slovakia) - 23rd Annual Conference of CEPSA 2018), as well as in the Czech Republic. Since January 2022 he has been a member of the board of the Association of Universities of the Third Age, z.s.
He completed several short-term research and study stays abroad (Finland (Helsingin Yliopisto, 2020 and 2022), Germany (Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg, 2018), the Netherlands (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, 2017), Spain (Universitat de València, 2018 and 2021) and Switzerland (Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies Geneva, 2017 and Université de Lausanne, 2019)).
