Erasmus + at VŠMVV

Based on the granted Erasmus University Charter, the University of International and Public Relations in Prague continues to further expand European interuniversity cooperation.

The Erasmus+ program is the EU’s new education program for the period 2021-2027, which supports cooperation and mobility in all spheres of education, training, sport and youth. It is the successor to the Lifelong Learning Program, the Youth in Action Program and others.

A student can undergo a study stay at a foreign higher education institution in a program or partner country is:

  • in the length of 3-12 months
  • implementation solely on the basis of existing interinstitutional agreements between the sending and receiving higher education institution owning ECHE

or an internship in a foreign company or organization in a program country:

  • in the length of 2-12 months
  • implementation on the basis of a tripartite agreement between the student, the sending higher education institution and the receiving organization, institution, company
  • newly, there is also the possibility of completing a graduate internship. The graduate internship must take place within one year of graduation, including the length of the internship. The necessary documents must be signed while still studying at the university, at the time of signing the documents the applicant must still have the status of a student

A student can complete a study stay or internship abroad in the total amount of a maximum of 12 months per study cycle (bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral). He can therefore complete, for example, 6 months of study stay and 6 months of internship, or, for example, the entire 12 months of internship. However, the limit of 12 months in one study cycle always applies. Months completed under the heading of the previous Lifelong Learning Program / Erasmus in the same study cycle count towards this time. For multi-year (eg five-year) master’s programs, this maximum subsidy per study stay / internship is 24 months.
