Welcome to the International office

The International Office exists to facilitate the international mobility of both students and teaching staff and to coordinate the international activities at all levels. It is the administrative centre for international programme Erasmus+.

On the basis of the granted Erasmus University Charter CIPR continues to extend its European inter-university cooperation.

ERASMUS + programme is a new educational EU programme for the period 2014-2020 that enhances cooperation and mobility in all fields of education, in vocational training and in the field of sports and youth. It is a successor of the Life Learning Programme, Youth in Action Programme, etc.

Stay abroad at a foreign university in a programme or a partner country:

  • 3-12 months
  • Realization exclusively on the basis of valid inter-institutional agreements between sending and receiving university holding ECHE (Charter)

Work internship in a foreign company or an organisation in a programme country:

  • 2-12 months
  • Realization on the basis of tripartite agreement between a student, a sending university and a receiving organisation, institution, company.

Newly, there is also a possibility of graduate internships. Graduate internships must be carried out within one year from the successful completion of studies, including the length of the internship. Necessary documents must be signed already during the university studies; at the time of signing the documents, an applicant must still have the student status.

Students may take part in a Study Exchange or work internship in a total length of 12months per study degree programme (bachelor, master or doctoral). They may fulfil 6 months of a study programme and 6months of a work internship, or full 12 months of work internship. However, the rule of 12months per study degree programme applies. Months completed under the auspices of the previous Life-long Learning Programme/Erasmus Programme in the same study degree programme are included in the 12months. For longer-lasting (e.g. five-year) graduate programmes, the total amount for a study stay or work internships is set to 24months.

Students may choose from the countries involved in ERASMUS + Programme:

  • 28 EU member countries
  • 3 EFTA countries – Iceland, Lichtenstein, Norway
  • 2 candidate countries (Turkey and The Republic of Macedonia)
