The College of International and Public Relations Prague (VŠMVV)

VŠMVV was founded in 1999 by the Houdek family and began its pedagogical activities in 2001. VŠMVV has also expanded its activities to Slovakia, where since 2008 teaching has been taking place in Bratislava . Former rector of the school and prominent Czech diplomat Judita Štouračová also played an important role in building the professional profile of the school.
Over the past 20 years, several thousands of satisfied graduates who make a good name for the school have passed through VŠMVV's gates. However, our success is mainly based on erudite experts from practice who teach at our premisses. Thanks to this, you will meet people such as security expert gen. Ing. Andor Šándor, former CEO of CzechTourism doc. Monika Palatková or long-term diplomat prof. Eduard Gombár during your studies.

Departments and teachers

Year 2017 and 2020

In 2017, a new management, which has experience in teaching at the most prestigious foreign universities such as Cambridge University, London School of Economics (LSE) or Maastricht University, joins VŠMVV. From this year on, the reform of teaching at VŠMVV began, thanks to which less emphasis is placed on memorization and more on the development of critical thinking and the application of knowledge usable in practice. Unique projects such as the Embassy Project or the student marketing agency, in which our students can apply their knowledge to practice during their studies, are also very successful.

In 2020, VŠMVV became part of the United College Prague group - the fastest growing educational group in higher education in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic.
