Vysoká škola mezinárodních a veřejných vztahů PrahaProf. PhDr. Ján Liďák, CSc. is a graduate of the Faculty of Arts of Comenius University in Bratislava, Department of History and Latin (1976). He received his habilitation in the field of Czechoslovak history and political theory, and a professor in the field of international relations. He is one of the founders of Czech-Slovak political science after 1989. Since graduating, he has worked at the University of Economics in Bratislava. At the Faculty of International Relations of the University of Economics, he held the position of Head of the Department of Political Science, as well as the position of Vice-Dean for Pedagogical Work and Faculty Development. In the years 2005-2019 he was the rector of Academia Rerum Civilium - University of Political and Social Sciences, Kutná Hora, Czech Republic. He currently works as a professor at the University of International and Public Relations in Prague and at the Faculty of Arts of Pavel Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. His pedagogical and publishing activities are focused on a wide range of issues in the field of political science, international relations and international politics.
