Political scientist, statesman and university teacher, docent. He studied political science (2003) and law (2008) at the Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica (UMB). In 2006, he successfully completed his doctoral studies in the field of Political Theory, completed a rigorous continuation (2007), and in (2010) qualified as an associate professor in the field. He currently works at the Department of Political Science, Faculty of Political Sciences and International Relations, UMB and also at the Department of Public Policy and Public Economy, Faculty of Public Policy and Public Administration, Danubius University (VSD), where he is also the dean.
In his academic work, he mainly deals with the issues of Political Theory, Theory of Law and the modern state, both in applied reality and also in concrete state and power structures. As part of his teaching activities, he mainly provides the following subjects: Theory of politics, Theory of law and states, Political system of the Slovak Republic, Current issues of public policy, Modern political theories and methods, in the doctoral study Theory of public power. He is a member of various scientific councils, both at home and abroad, as well as union commissions in the study programs of political science, international relations and public policy and public administration. He is the editor-in-chief of the journal Forum of Foreign Languages, Political Science and International Relations and assessor of heterogeneous project schemes such as Research and Development Support Agency (APVV), VEGA and KEGA projects at the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sports of the Slovak Republic.
