Vysoká škola mezinárodních a veřejných vztahů PrahaHe works at the Institute of International and European Law, Faculty of Law, Pan-European University in Bratislava. At the same time, he is entered in the list of experts maintained by the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic in the field of Legal Relations with Foreign Countries, in the branches of European Law and International Private and Procedural Law. In 2006 he successfully completed his master's degree at the Faculty of Law of the University of Vienna (Rechstswissenschaftliche Fakultät der Universität Wien) in Austria and in 2012 his doctoral studies in the field of international law at the Faculty of Law of the Pan-European University. In 2022 he received a habilitation in international law.
He is currently a member of the presidency of the Council of Higher Education Institutions of the Slovak Republic, chairman of the Academic Senate of the Pan-European University, a member of the Scientific Board of the Faculty of Law of the Pan-European University and a member of the editorial board of the scientific journal "Pan-European Legal Letters". He is an active academic staff member at the University of International and Public Relations in Prague. He focuses his scientific research on European Union law, paying particular attention to its constitutional system, the principle of effective judicial protection, the internal market, Union citizenship, the protection of personal data and, with an extension to international economic law, the protection of international investment.
